What is Roost Crate?

Roost Crate is the source for unique custom gifts for any occasion including monthly subscriptions, custom gifts, client gifts, corporate gifts and much more!

Subscriptions

Our Roost Crate subscription is your “Farmer’s Market in a box, delivered to your door." Carefully curated artisan items fill each themed monthly box. Through Roost Crate, you will discover some of the best products found at local Upstate NY & New England stands and shops. Our mission is to help customers support small businesses, shop local, and to help our partners expand their market by sharing their wonderful products with a wider audience. 

How does it work?

Roost Crate is delivered to subscribers each month. Click our "Subscription" button or menu tab and select your payment option (month-to-month, pre-pay 3-month, or pre-pay 6-month), fill out your billing and shipping information and you are on your way to receiving a monthly box of awesome.   All subscriptions will renew automatically on the 30th of each month unless marked "gift". 

Can I purchase a Subscription as a gift?

Yes! You can purchase our subscriptions as a gift! Simply choose the option that you prefer and mark the box "Gift" at checkout. You can also leave a short note or gift message in the field provided and we will include it for you. If you would like a custom gift, please see more information below.

What comes in my Roost Crate Subscription?

A unique assortment of 4-6 hand-selected products from Upstate New York and surrounding areas. Items can include jam, honey, chocolate, coffee, tea, soaps, scrubs, lotions, skin care, soups, spices, condiments, home textiles, and more. We’ve got standards; we take the time to research, taste and get to know each of our product suppliers. If we like it, we know you’ll like it too.

Do I get fresh produce or meats?

Although you would find these delicious items at the Farmer’s Market, we do not ship fresh produce or meats. Our focus is on local shelf stable artisanal items.  Each item received will be of the highest quality & sustainable.

I have certain allergies. What can I do about that?

The Products offered through the Roost Crate subscription & gift service include food items, which may include common allergens, such as peanuts, tree nuts, soy, milk, eggs, wheat and other known allergens. We make a concerted effort to communicate all of the ingredients and environments accurately. Nonetheless, we cannot guarantee that its products are free of peanuts, tree nuts, soy, milk, eggs, wheat or other known allergens. Users concerned about food allergies must be aware and utilize the recipes, product recommendations and contents of the Roost Crate subscription service at their own risk.

Is shipping included?

No, shipping is not included in the pricing for subscriptions at this time.  We are working toward making this option available in the near future! 

When will I receive my Roost Crate Subscription?

Roost Crate ships out to subscribers around the 20th of every month via USPS Priority Mail.  If you signed up any day prior to the 19th during a given month, you'll receive your first Roost Crate that month. If you sign up on the 20th, your Roost Crate will be shipped to you the following month. Example: You became a subscriber on June 24th.  Your first Roost Crate will be shipped to you around July 20th.

When am I billed for my Subscription? 

You are billed for your first Crate immediately upon subscribing.  Each subsequent Crate will fall on our regular billing schedule which will be the 30th of every month.

What is your subscription cancellation policy?

You can cancel your month-to-month subscription with Roost Crate any time before your next box ships. Pre-paid subscriptions cannot be cancelled before the term date.  If you have any questions, please send an email to info@roostcrate.com.

Custom, Client, & Corporate Gifting

Can I purchase a gift without signing up for a subscription?

Yes!  Roost Crate makes a great gift for any occasion! We offer pre-curated gifts perfect for Birthday, Thank You, New Home, Gifts for Her, Gifts for Him, Bridesmaid, Groomsmen, and more!

Our pre-curated gift selections typically ship within 1-3 business days.

Custom, corporate or event gifts may take 2 weeks or longer to fulfill. If you need your gift(s) by a certain date, please contact us at roostcrate@gmail.com to review all options.  

Do you provide custom gift orders?

Absolutely! We can't wait to help you build the perfect gift! In need of wedding or team building welcome gifts, corporate events gifts, client gifts, holiday party gifts or bridal/groomsmen gifts? Contact us at info@roostcrate.com or fill out our contact form to get started! (minimums apply) 

Please note that large orders may take 2 weeks or longer to fulfil.

 What is your refund & return policy?

We do not offer refunds. All sales are final. If you are unhappy with your Roost Crate, please email us info@roostcrate.com and let us know.  We provide a variety of different products; some you will like, and others may not be for you. If you receive something that isn't to your taste, we recommend sharing it with someone! 

I received a damaged or missing product.  What do I do?

We take great care in hand packing all of our gifts. However, we realize that mistakes sometimes happen. If you receive a damaged or missing item, Please email us at info@roostcrate.com immediately upon receipt of your shipment. 

Where do you ship?

We currently ship to the United States ONLY.
